Recently converted 2 bedroom self catering gite with pool.

Situated in Cendrieux, a village in the heart of the Dordogne, the Perigord Noir, we are perfectly situated to explore the area. Whether it's castles & chateaux, with stunning scenery, canoeing on the river or relaxing by our pool - there is plenty for everyone. There are a large number of excellent restaurants in the local area offering the regional specialities - duck, foie gras, walnuts & strawberries. We are close to all the main tourist attractions including Sarlat (30mins), the world heritage sites at Les Eyzies & Lascaux (25 mins) and many beautiful markets towns such as Le Bugue which is just on our doorstep.

The gite sleeps 4 people in two good size bedrooms - 1 x double, 1 x twin. There is plenty of hanging space & storage. There is also a sofa bed in the living area which would be suitable for a child (not adults).  A travel cot & high chair are also provided.

There is an open plan living room and kitchen area. There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone staying in the gite. TV with English Free to air channels, video, DVD & stereo. Fully equipped fitted kitchen with hob & oven, microwave, toaster & fridge with ice box. Dining area. Iron & ironing board. Various books & toys provided (suitable for younger children).

There is a bathroom with full size bath with shower, we even have a hairdryer.

For those cooler days, the gite has central heating via radiators.

The swimming pool is 8 x 4 metres with roman steps (installed Spring 2006) set in a large garden with many mature fruit trees. The gite garden has plenty of furniture - table & chairs, sunbeds by the pool & parasols. Bar-b-que (charcoal is available in all the local shops). There is a private entrance & private parking.

We supply all bed linen and towels (including pool towels). If you are staying with us for 2 weeks, we provide a full change of linen & towels.

Baby sitting facilities available - 20€ per evening. Washing service can be provided (use of owners machine).

We provide a welcome pack on arrival.

Saturday arrivals after 4pm. Departure by 10am.

Outside high season, short breaks / long lets may be available - please ask for prices.

happykidsholidays note: This property would not be suitable for children who like to ‘escape’ due to its proximity to the road. However, it is in the same village as our office and would therefore be very well suited for adults who require additional support – see happykidsholidays for further information.
